Good nitro in tap, but don't forget the excellent pastries especially the cupcakes! Watch out for long queues out the door. Two different queues, one for coffee and the other for pastries. Recommended in Georgetown.

Great location, coffee and cakes. And as an added bonus, a friendly & engaging barista that typified service perfection. The second best coffee we found in D.C. And not by much of a margin. Well done.

I got something called a Talk which they said was a cortado. It was delicious but their beans were a little weak. I had only a tiny bit of milk and the espresso didn't cut through much. No elements of chocolate. Not bald or weak overall but they should consider other beans. Normally I am drinking coffee in Italy or Blue Bottle in San Francisco or brewing at home on my Kees Van der Weston Speedster. Happy to have found this place.

Definitely seek this place out, but be prepared for a wait. Very popular and an archaic ordering system means a delay in evitable when things get busy. If dining in reserve your spot but of course you'll need to have an ear out for your name being called to collect. The coffee is Stumptown and well made, the bakery within the same shop is excellent - very tempting. Great location next to a canal with some alfresco seating available if you want to grab some rays.
