A large group of us turned up unannounced for lunch and we received excellent service, vary tasty food and I finished with a latte that looked great and tasted delicious. The cafe has a skilled barista and the coffee was a great way to finish an enjoyable lunch.
An absolute joke Went here today for breakfast started really well. Nice girl took our order for breakfast and a part of the order was for a extra serving of bacon for our daughter .order came we ate and went to pay the bill $73.00 for breakfast and the serve of bacon cost $19.00 !!!!!we went back to ask if this was correct and a older quite grumpy waitress reply yes thats correct we said thats very expensive for 3 bits of bacon she said well we did serve you water and bring it to you she also said she would'nt pay that much but there again she would of ordered it ! Clearly we will will not go again.she did give us $4.00 refund in the end but very expensive for what you get !!!
Went here for mothers day breakfast, but after wished we'd gone somewhere else. The restaurant is modern, stylish and clean, and we sat on the deck - which was enjoyable, plus the girl who served us was nice. We ordered hot chocolates...both turned out weak - very little chocolate flavor, and the meals for the prices - overpriced. My Mum ordered a vegetarian meal - it came on an average sized plate with lots of space...only 3 small mushrooms, 1 small hash brown (when the menu clearly said 2 - I was looking forward to having 1), the 2 poached eggs came on a small slice of ciabatta bread- all for $16. My dish for $13, scrambled eggs on toast. 2 small pieces of ciabatta bread - with about 1 cup full (total) of scrambled eggs...and 2 small vine tomatoes as a garnish (which I though my Mum would have on her plate as well - but didn't). The food overall was cooked quite nicely - but it was the lack there of that was disappointing - esp for the price - we should have gone to Aroma Deli cafe, which we know from experience that is a great place for breaky, and who serve great coffee as well I hear!!
Was heading for Watermarc but it was closed on a Sunday. Luckily round the corner right on the creek is The Vue. Modern and bright, with plenty of natural light and outdoor seating option they serve Gravity beans and make a fine nicely balanced ristretto. Plenty of food options as well as licensed. Very busy when I was there but quick table service.
I went for lunch here yesterday! I was so surprised at how great the service was! I never once had the catch the waitresses attention who was friendly and attentive. The coffee was excellent, as I live in melbourne I was impressed with the quality of the coffee the girls must have the grind just right. I had a delicious meal, compliments to the chef! A for a fantastic cafe'
