My flat white was pretty average and lacklustre in flavour, additionally the size was the tiniest flat white I have ever seen. The food was pretty average too. A disappointment after all the good things I had heard. Would not go back. Far nicer places for coffee around here.

Flat White/latte was spot on! My wife's Long Black/Americano however lacked a crema and did not meet her standards! Food good just a little slow. Met some young fellow Aussies at a table - seats were hard to come by - they're regulars & were happy with their coffee!

Great service with your server greeting you right at the door. The cafe is a minimalist layout with timber and concrete elements. I like the stripped back decor and there was a lot of Mac users there hanging out. I ordered a cappuccino and a latte for my girlfriend. These were the same drinks, but served in an 8oz and 12oz glass. They weren't the exact shot/milk/foam portions of a cappuccino. But they were very smooth and tasted great! Best I've had in Van so far.

A M A Z I N G ! ! ! The best coffee and service I've experienced anywhere in the world! We tried 'nemesis.' after they had only been open for one day. The ran a super smooth ship, treated you at the order desk like you were the only customer in the world and then provided a fabulous cup of silky smooth, perfectly extracted and delightfully light and fluffy coffee. The mouth feel was like nothing else I've ever tried. The breakfasts are sensational! The duck waffles were delicious, but the almond granola with poached egg, julienne apple and celeriac puree was out of this world amazing. Whilst we continued to try other coffee specialists around Vancouver, we kept going back to nemesis. every day because they were so damn good. Even when were in the cab to the airport, we asked the cab driver to stop off at nemesis. first (10 mins in the wrong direction) because we wanted one last coffee.

You know it will probably be good when they aren't trying to serve you a liter of overheated milk with a splash of espresso. Good sized drinks. Nice rich flavour to the espresso shot. Right strength. Good temperature. Definitely one of the better ones in the city. And the salted chocolate chip cookie is as big as it looks.

Hands down best coffee shop in the city. Wickedly cool space and perfect espressos every time. Food items are what you typically expect but with an interesting twist as well as some more unique sweets to pick from.
