Stopped in for a medium cappuccino on our way through town. The lady who served us was lovely and helpful but unfortunately the coffee was quite bad. It was scalding hot and by the time it cooled down to drinkable temperature it was weak and watery. I took the lid off and saw that there was zero trace of any crema and looked more like a cup of Blend 43 than a cappuccino. Disappointing.

Ordered a cappuccino and received a weak flat coffee that was way too hot. The lady serving was very pleasant but this cafe does not deserve the current average rating it has based on the coffee I was served today.

Ordered a large takeaway latte with full cream milk, two sugars and an extra shot. One of the nicest coffees I've had. Also got toasted banana bread with butter. Really nice and awesome value. Don't be put off by the low-key decor. Very friendly and inviting.

Quiet little place on the main drag of town. Coffee is Monte if I remember right, which they do well, although having said that, it is a 50/50 chance of getting a long black instead of the double shot espresso which I always ask for. Food is good, and cheap too.

Given that the last time I had coffee in Taree (a number of years ago) I got an instant coffee with a blob of milk foam, it's not difficult to say that Cafe Mediterano was the best coffee I've ever had in Taree! The double shot flat white was decent, but the single shot was too milky - I have my suspicions that the difference between a 'regular' and a 'medium' take away is just a lot of extra milk. It seemed like a popular place for breakfast among the locals.

Made with care and a touch of love i was impressed with this cup, especially considering I was in what seems to be a bit of a rough town. Will return
