Flat white, latte and doppio were excellent! The doppio really had a punch, and a nice fruity aftertaste. Food was very nice, service very friendly

What a treat this place is. Coffee is my crop to cup, and the Israeli themed menu is exquisite.

Great little place right on King St. If you are nearby this is the one. I had a double which seems to be about right. Very nicely made.

I had a caramel latte and it was very smooth and creamy, not too strong, could have been a bit hotter though. Atmosphere is cosy, not keen on how squishy the inside seating is but overall very cute cafe, nice food and great service, I would come here again.

Shenkin sadly no longer has the same level of consistency, or attention to detail they once had! Can still get a very good coffee, but in my opinion you can no longer rely on that being the case. A little under extracted on this occasion!
Disappointing milk bar style coffee that's inferior to their Erko branch. Don't come here for the coffee.
Enmore Road has long been in need of a really 5 star (3 Cup) coffee house and Shenkin Kitchen really stood and delivered in that respect when it happily arrived to the precinct as the third Shenkin venue. Pretty much says it all there - that they can open and sustain 3 amazing food and coffee houses in almost one postcode. Barista Graham makes some dynamite java jolts using tasty Mecca beans and whether its take out on the run or eat in - the cups are consistently tasty and poured with love. Go there on a Friday for their filtered coffee extravaganza. Even in the busiest times we've never had to wait very long outside to get a table once we've put our name down. The options for street, inside or backyard seating are a treat. I've never experienced anything but the most professional, warm, attentive and welcoming service from all their staff. As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted by a beaming, lovely smile. You are then shown to your table with chatter and smiles and even paying the bill you can shoot the breeze with cooks, baristas and any other staff milling about who are always friendly and treat you like one of their own at all times. Its very much a friend of the family vibe in there. The decor is nice and rustic with loads of letterpress, chalk art, rusty antiques and trinkets and beautifully displayed wares. This is not really a food site - more a coffee dealio - so I will holster that excitement puppy - but it has to be said, the food is amazing here also! The Shakshuka is the best in the country and the range of breakfast dishes is truly phenomenal. If you can't find something you like on this menu then you might want to stop and evaluate whether you are in fact a properly functioning human being. I'm lucky to have Shenkin a short stroll from my dojo. Well done team!
