A stand-out cafe for black coffee lovers particularly. They roast beans on the premises and offer multiple pour-over options. Great black coffee, over several visits. Interesting food menu. Pricey, with weekend surcharge. Most staff are good - a few are inattentive and ‘let the side down’.
The food was amazing, unfortunately that's not what I came for. Again, this place build great expectations (is it a sydney issue?) with a+ reviews and recommendations, but from an industry professional perspective, I was desapointed, the single origin Colombian was badly extracted and didn't look or taste like much in my long black. Shame, cause I'm sure the beans were top notch but the barista wasn't able to work hos/her magic. Worth a second chance...
