It's table service; do not go to the counter or you may confronted with a slightly louche attitude. Health oriented meals but but not overly so, served with decent coffee. Not the best in the area, IMHO, smallish cup and not quite so hot soy latte. Warm inside and catering to large groups, outside is not too noisy. The Nine (across and up) and The Shop, are better.
I've passed this place a few times & it's always been busy. My partner & I lunched here 1 midweek afternoon & found the service poor with a feeling of "you're wasting my time" attitude from the staff. The wasn't the best I've had but was the highlight of a very average experience. The food wasn't worth the money we paid for it either! Unfortunately the attitude of the staff has lost this establishment a customer who eats/drinks regularly in Bondi! 👎🏼
I absolutely love this place.. Coffee is probably the best in Bondi. They serve the sweet noted gypsy espresso, always bold and full of flavor.. Breakfast is out of this world, somewhat simple however the combination of flavors are amazing.. I have made several visits now, all have been wonderful with extremely friendly service.. definitely a place to tick off the list..
For a Wednesday lunchtime, this place was pumping. The waitress was grumpy and took ages to take our order. Other staff helpful. Huge amazing delicious salads with a huge Bondi price tag to match - $18 plus $5 for smoked trout!! Coffee was great - strong and smooth.
Coffee is very good . Staff are arrogant, just because you work at a cafe in Bondi doesn't give you card blanche on manners. Handed the guy a 20 for 3 coffees and expected all the change to be a tip. When I asked for change was given all coins.... No wonder the service industry and retail is going down the tubes in Australia ! Get a reality check guys, there another 25 coffee shops in a 500m radius. Won't be going back!
