The atmosphere is very French. It’s charming. It’s a cool and civilised place to eat that’s close to Coogee beach. The crêpes are authentic and top quality. The service is fine. The coffee is not as good as the food but, with this beautiful peaceful interior, it’s a very good choice. Recommended.
I really like the location of this place and even though it is small, not a lot of sunlight in the arvo's and the proprietors are obviously working well with what they have, the atmosphere is a bit lacking. Service is nice. So how about the coffee? I've had a few takeaway coffees from here and found they are a little lacking. Maybe because bonsoy is not used, they have also been a little bitter. The food looks good here although I haven't had any. With so many coffee places you might look elsewhere in Coogee for your take away brew. But for a little quiet place to have a chat to your friends or for a meet up before hitting the playground/beach it might be worth a look.
What a Gem, hidden from the crowds of sunburnt tourists, a real locals hide out, i can't believe it hasn't been reviewed in so long. The coffee is so smooth and sweet, perfect extraction, the staff are super friendly. So far i have only been able to get take away coffees on my trips into Coogee at the weekends as people seem to fight for tables to dine in as its only a small place, the food looks amazing though i haven't tried it yet this is my go to place in Coogee, well worth the the walk up the hill, if people make the small detour past the usual places i think this could get the best coffee in Coogee
