Always something different and new when I visit this place. Firstly the FAB gets better and better everytime I try it and today they are working on their summer coffee menu. I was given a sample of their experiment. Flavour was amazing. Tasted like a chocolate milk shake except there was no chocolate or milk in the beverage. Hopefully it makes it onto the summer menu.
My first go on FAB. 15g to start was mighty fine - in between diluted espresso and pour over. Second FAB at 12.5g was sweeter while maintaining that attractive mouthfeel. Espresso on same Ethiopian has a nice balanced acidity. To finish a 'black magic' - aerated long black that included latte art without milk - not into long blacks but think it would work well for those that are. Frank's coffee explanations definitely add to the experience.
