The art and science of coffee is combined to produce the quality and experience you don’t find in many cafe’s. Beans are selected, roasted and precision ground and turned into love.

One of the best! Consistently good and lovely little spots to sit and enjoy your brew poured by an artist.

Loved my almond (milk lab) cap and eggs on toast. Eggs were cooked perfectly.

Honestly the best coffee in Sydney! I wouldn’t go anywhere else. You can tell how much care and detail goes into every coffee. I’m a big fan of their new roast - managed to get such a good balance of flavour without being bitter or overly harsh. If you haven’t tried it yet, then you’re missing out!

Pretty good coffee but was left with a bad taste in the mouth after the extremely poor service. Worst service since moving to Sydney. Atmosphere was very dark and depressing.

Hi Davyn, Thank you for visiting us. Unfortunately, we don’t accept dirty reusable cups during busy periods. We find it unfair to let other queuing customer wait when they’ve returned with clean cups ready to order. We believe our decor is modern and unique, and our customers love the friendly service we provide. We hope you find a cafe with decor more suited to your liking.

Old mate Steve has been roasting his own bean lately. With the new roast the flavour hits you like the regret of a North Korean dissident against the full wrath of Kim Jong Un. Absolutely relentless. 10/10 bean and service.

Was lucky enough to try some beans roasted by the team here, super smooth and supple flavours in espresso and aeropresses beautifully too. FW consistently my favourite despite the house blend changing slightly and the Reformatory Ethiopian V60 was perfectly made. Very well caffeinated now.

Espresso had a bit of cocoa nibs, bit of bitterness - ok. Complex succession of flavours to the Gesha pour over - real nice stuff.

Reformatory beans for a washed Columbian espresso had a tasty bit of acidity across a more rounded chocolate backbone - nice. Smooth mouthfeel for the Ethiopian pour over coupled with a lovely balance of sweet, clean fruit and citrus acidity - real nice. Washed Panama Gesha for another pour over had a mighty fine orange and passion fruit flavour
