Great place. My first time here. Staff are super friendly and quick to acknowledge customers. Coffee was really good and food was well portioned and priced. I will be back

Many of the 10 out 10 scores here are highly suspect. These "reviews" are typically quite short, lacking in detail & information. Normally scores this high are accompanied by lengthy detailed reviews. A cafe receives 10 out of 10 for "nice, smooth coffee"? Really?? What about speed of service, communication, price, variety, freshness, quality? These perfect scores seem more like damage control....As an aside there coffees are made by kids, and aren't remotely close to barrista levels..

I've been a patron of this establishment on two occasions. On the first, I ordered nothing more than a milkshake which I had to wait approx 25 min for. The staff seemed alot more interested in socialising with some of their younger patrons, and did a splendid job in pretending I didn't exist. Waiting 25 min for a meal is one thing, but for a drink, I expect to be told roughly what kind of wait time I'm looking at. None of the staff were apologetic. The 2nd time occurred the last weekend ( 06.08.2017 ). We ordered a coffee and a raspberry friand. The wait time was long ( 15 min ) considering the place was virtually empty. I can't remember having ever tasted a friand so infused with sugar before. One bite was enough. As neither of us couldn't eat it, we placed this at the end of the table, where it could easily be seen by the staff. 15 minutes passed by and once again, the staff made a concerted effort not to look in our direction. I'm guessing this was their passive aggressive way of not enquiring why didn't eat the friand. This is unprofessional. I should think most business owners would want to know if their patrons are happy with the service, meals, etc, which leads me to my reason for this review. I'm really hoping the owner will read this and educate his staff accordingly. Having young people on staff may be cheap, but it can also result in poor service.

Coffee was a solid good tasting cup. They got my complicated order right. Wouldn't rate coffee as any better than most places though. The loaded shake we bought was absolutely sensational and I can't thank the lovely staff enough for really going to lots of effort to ensure the loaded shake was gluten free. My son who is a coeliac throughly loved it and was so appreciative that staff took the time to create a shake that he could enjoy. Whilst we didn't have any burgers, the cafe was humming with people and all the food coming out to other tables looked amazing.
