Espresso was short, just the right temperature and excellent in all respects. The coffee was rich, dark, and intense with a strong dark crema. It presented light acidity and a lingering creamy mouth feel. This particular espresso was made from their “Crowd Pleaser” blend roasted freshly that day. And, at $14 for 250g, it certainly is. The vanilla cream gluten-free brownie sandwich style biscuit was delicious, not too sweet and balanced by the thick vanilla cream filling. A limited range of fresh homemade bake as well as breakfast and lunch offerings with local, fresh, seasonal ingredients make this a real standout. The friendly informative staff were easy going but competent, prompt and precise in their duties.
