The Currimundi cafe no longer exists but they have two other locations, one in Birtinya and the other in Bellvista. Birtinya has a lovely open outdoor area close to display homes and has a playground for the kids. Haven't tried the food but it looks amazing. Coffee is strong and smooth - I drink long black with Almond Milk.
Been here and at the other Izba locations a few times now. Their coffee is usually good, with a few hit and misses here and there. Today I turned up and was told that there wasn't a table free, even tho there were a few empty ones (reserved for people who weren't there). With the unwelcoming vibe, I decided to spend my money elsewhere. Pretty disappointing.
As a new resident of the Sunshine Coast, Izba Currimundi is a real hidden gem. An unassuming, but grungy exterior hides the real heart of Izba - the friendly, happy staff/service & fantastic coffee. This is how customer service should be - it takes nothing to greet the customer with a bright 'hello' followed by great product. This is what brings people back & attracts others through word of mouth. Well done Izba! Keep up the good work!
