Coffee is consistently the best I can find in Singapore. Service is always good. Food is pricey but the Rodyk Style Eggs Benedict is to die for. The atmosphere is noisy, but if you in before 9am, it’s very peaceful. Best of all it opens at 7:30am, which is early for Singapore.
Good coffee - as Aussies would expect from Toby's Estate. I was surprised the cafe was so empty. Many great options nearby and this is a bit of a walk from the road. Perhaps it doesn't capture weekday traffic. The noise (possibly related to the onsite roasting) was too much for me. The ambiance was good but I wouldn't be able to converse or sit with the noise very long. It may not be like this all the time. Good wifi.
Great coffee and I kinda like the huge share table although sometime it can be awkward sitting next to people actually make conversation (seriously... that's what texting and messaging is for people - get some more friends to stalk on Facebook/Gram). Coffee: Similar to another great hipster coffee coffee joint around the corner, I would recommend going for a bit milked than normal. Food is nothing special and needs an upgrade, but does the job.
Great coffee. Great food - especially the breakfast menu. Great location by the river with urban chic decor. Atmosphere is good also. The service is the single failing. The initial service is passable but once you're seated and your first order taken and attended to the staff become unattentive and looking out for existing diners in non-existant.
