Funky vibe and music that would not have been out of place in Newtown, Sydney. Espresso on Genovase blend, extracted as almost a ristretto, was ok, spending most of its time down the darker bitter end of the swimming pool.

After suffering undrinkable coffee at our hotel we found this place on Beanhunter. The cappuccino and latte were both good the service was fast and friendly and the fitout pretty cool.

Great spot for some quality coffee. They have good beans, but more importantly they know how to make a proper coffee. Perfect texture, finish, and temperature. Really enjoyed it. I personally am not a huge fan of the dark lighting but it's worth the trip for coffee.

No signage for cafe. You have to know it’s 17 Hong Kong Street and push the smoked glass doors open before you realise it’s there. The coffee is worth it. They use Genovese beans roasted in MELBOURNE. Would prefer a locally roasted but you can’t be fussy if they’re from Aus. This was my second visit, the first being in Jan. My FW was consistent with both flavour and well textured milk.

Great atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Double shot Capp was silky smooth. Not even slightly bitter. It’s a must visit for a caffeine in Singapore.

An industrial, grunge kind of atmosphere, with some great music. I always have my coffee on soy and it was amazing to see that they had it on the menu! I will definitely return when I’m back in Singapore!

Love Ronin. Reminds me of Melbourne cafes. Great coffee and good food. Also love Vincent's other cafe and Ronin's sister Punch. Sadly The Plain will close soon but Punch is even better!

Coffee was as good as most from the Sydney cafe scene (i.e excellent). Food was great. Not much of a selection but that wasn't a problem. I'll go there every time I'm in Singapore.
