This cafe is pretty close to Namsangol Hanok village and offers a great place to chill and drink. The coffe itself is fantastic. Expertly made in a variety of methods. Nice beans (didn't catch the roaster) make a very balanced coffee. There was no flat white on the menu, so I just went for a cafe latte. The biscuits were also delicious. The barista was very friendly and knew enough English to answer questions.
A beautifully set out small coffee shop on the ground floor of the Staz II hotel. We stayed there for a few days and thought "Let's give him a chance " and I am happy we did. The coffee was brewed perfectly and was served in Noritake porcelain. We tried a few different coffees, including their signature one, which was a very strong and rich pourover brewed onto ice, served in an espresso cup with whipped milk (yes milk) on the top. It was absolutely beautiful, just like anything else that we tried there. The barista showed deep knowledge in the different brewing techniques and explained the characteristics of the different beans they had. He was also very helpful when we asked him where to eat, or what to see. It was a relief to find a gem like this. It was just like having a coffee in one of Australia's best cafes. The hotel was clean and reasonably priced anyway, so it was a good combination. Highly recommended.
