Peak has a great monopoly over the town and whilst you can get it from any number of cafes and/or restaurants around the place it usually isn’t great due to no love shown to the coffee. Going to Peak it self is where this coffee shines and were you will have the best experience with the coffee. They also have a number of single origin beans which is great for a coffee drinker to be able to find new experiences for your palette

Coffee roasters in an industrial area - but don’t let that deter you. Coffee was sensational & service (from all the team) was outstanding. Such friendly people! We’ll be back

We are out of towners and found these guys on Beanhunter. So glad we did. The coffee is excellent and the staff incredibly friendly. Great work guys

I’ve had Peak’s main coffee around town at a few places and it’s pretty good but often been let down by those making the coffee itself - one exception was yesterday at the Kew Corner Store which was just right. Coming to their roastery though was a whole other level - coffee flights, knowledgeable staff, great selection of single Os, including some particularly special Indian honey processed coffee. Nice inside and do what they can in this industrial setting outside, but uncomfortable though. Overall 😊

Hands down, the best coffee in Port Macquarie. Great, friendly staff who are genuinely passionate about the coffee that they make and the process of finding the right beans, experimenting with roasting techniques to create the perfect flavour profile. 'Methods create Madness' was by far one of my favourite blends, they don't always have this though, but it won an award for the Golden Bean comp. Kenny, the barista is also always a delight and is amazing at not over-extracting the coffee and creating the perfect amount of froth in the milk.

Sort of blew my mind the offering of beans at this place.. Although a relatively small place, they have an insane selection of single origins mostly coming from direct trade which is impressive and admirable! This is on top of a few blends, one of which is a silver medal winner (roasting is all done themselves, on-site). Super friendly staff who knew loads about their coffee from the farmers through to perfect brewing techniques. AND, the best cold brew (cold drip) I have ever tasted, in all honesty. No use describing it except to urge you to go in and try it for yourself. Lots of equipment for sale, many many beans, and a cool atmosphere...what else? I tried a Rwanda through the Chemex, the cold drip two different ways, and another pour-over from Honduras or Peru which I forget due to being too excited

Coffees were great being full of flavour with a touch of bitterness. Milk was well shaped and integrated into the shot. Ambiance was industrial as the location was in the Industrial Area of Port. Beans were roasted on site and this added to the experience. Service was fast and efficient

Very good coffee, comparable to some in Melbourne. The highlight was Ken the barista's passion for creating the perfect pour and expressing the blend/origin perfectly. Will return.

I've been a customer of Peak for the past 6 months and have always been impressed by both their service and coffee. After living in Surry Hills/Redfern and being spoilt for choice, I was pleasantly surprised when I found such an innovative cafe/roastery in Port Macquarie. Ken and Cameron are both charming baristas with lots of passion. You could never ask for a more knowledgeable roaster than the Ainsley the mad scientist, or a lovelier owner than Christine. Every time I visit peak they seem to have a new coffee origin (and they regularly visit the plantations), a new brewing method or tasty treat to go with your coffee. Keep up the good work!
