Busy little place on King Street, passionate hands on owner/s that translates to the quality coffee they put out. They don't over heat the milk, perfect temp for me... Not for everyone no doubt. Coffee has a lovely flavour of it's own. Will be back anytime I'm in the area!

Fantastic coffee. Often very busy around 10:00am, service is good, prices reasonable without being too expensive. Nice vibe.

The coffee profile changes everytime I try it. Maybe they switch their blends every week? Also can be very milky if trying a flat white. The espressos are usually good but different everytime

Was visiting Perth for work for a couple of days and was in desperate need of a good coffee after 3 disappointments at other spots stumbled into velvet with Q out the door so thought I would give it a crack. It blew my socks off best Maciato I have had this year...

Popped in on recent business trip from Melbourne. Why is Perth coffee do expensive for an average coffee. Velvet was best of an average bunch. Milk way too hot and lacking much texture.

Was expecting a lot from my coffee given the reputation of this place. It was a very safe cup. Difficult to fault but at the same time hard to rate it any higher than a slightly weaker than normal flat white with nice textured milk. Basically just a very easy to drink cup with nice flavors but lacked any sort of kick. Service was slow

It was fine, but I had to settle for a double ristretto long macchiato three quarters because they didn't know what I meant by caffe a la sofisticato.

Very well balanced single shot cap. Milk textured beautifully and shot was the right colour and smooth taste. But it was only warm which was a bummer.
