Initial impressions of the restaurant were great - excellent rustic atmosphere. Ordered a Flat White and was shortly given it along with a slice of a lime and coconut loaf, and a brownie from a cheery waitress. Unfortunately she did spill some sugar on the table, but still pretty good, friendly service. The flat white was smooth but lacked in strength - a bit too light and lacking in robustness, but still a decent coffee. The lime and coconut loaf had good flavours and worked well together, but the loaf was a tad grainy and dry. The brownie suffered from the same problem, and was a bit too nutty for my tastes. Despite its flaws, I'll definitely return and give it another try as my experience was still overall quite enjoyable.
Double Mac was smooth but a bit weak, maybe the roast is a bit light. Tried their triple Mac and that was pretty good strength wise - indicates how weak te standard double Mac was. Service good Wife paid $7-8 for home made lemonade that came chock a block full of ice - a couple of mouthfuls it was gone. She complained and they gave another with minimal ice so there was something to drink.
