Very nice place but I really didn’t like the coffee I had. I noticed they were going to add more milk than I wanted so I had them half it, maybe that was a mistake as more milk could have disguised the off flavor.

This is a serious coffee shop, they will roast beans on demand. So surprisingly, sadly, my espresso “La Grande Reserve” was ho hum, and my croissant was cold and fatty. I could have had better back at my hotel.

Good coffee is almost impossible to find in Paris. This place is an exception. We had a very good cappuccino, that would have been perfectly acceptable in Melbourne or Sydney. Nice space, service perfunctory. Seek it out.

A well designed space. I like the clean lines mixed with warm materials like the cork light fittings. But the coffee sucks. I figured it was just a dirty machine or poorly dialled in so I bought two bags to go. No matter how I adjusted the grind, dose etc I could not pull out any interesting flavours. This was using a Mignon grinder, Kalitawave pour over with Volvic water and at 93deg from a Brewista swan neck kettle which is pretty hard to get too wrong. Even first thing in the morning when coffee is a necessity for my wife rather than a taste exploration it was undrinkable. I don't mean that it was a little bit bitter or over roasted or too much of a sour cherry coming through. I mean two sips and the cup was put down and left by everyone in our house.
