These guys deserve special mention. It is a great little space well laid out. Super laid back. Great simple food (Avo smash etc) coming out of their micro kitchen. But the special mention has to come because of their coffee strategy. They are constantly tasting different coffees from the great roasters of europe and then once a month they pick one roaster and order a month's supply of coffee from them. They told me the volumes and that equates to one of the better volumes for Paris. Volume often helps to make a barrista turn out better and better as well as more consistent coffees. Anyway, the special mention therefore is that it is worth going back to Fragment every month just to try their next batch of coffee. And if it tastes like they missed the mark a little, have a chat and you may find that they are still bedding in the coffee of the month.
