A limited range of milk based coffees so we opted for double shot lattes and were delighted with the taste. Presentation was first class and not a drop spilled from full cups notwithstanding the steep climb from the machine on the ground floor to the table area on the first floor. Location wise this cafe is directly across the road from the Floating Garden building bus park and is only a short walk via a walkway to the Grand Front Building.
Upon entering I was immediately met with the smells of freshly roasted coffee and the sounds of smooth jazz music, certainly a pleasant atmosphere to set the scene for enjoying a pleasant cup of coffee. While my cappuccino was a little slow to arrive, it was certainly worth the wait. The flavour was smooth, with a slight earthy taste, and a pleasant after taste that left me eager for the next sip. My only disappointment was when the relatively small (240ml) grande was gone far too quickly for my livings, though the taste that lingered on my tongue certainly left me eager for another. If you're in the vicinity of the Umeda Skye Building I strongly recommend you pop into Cafe Tip08.
