Popped in for coffee and lunch and glad we did. My Pork Sambo was delicious and my partners Wild Rice and Salad Bowl was superb. My piccolo was very well made and nice and strong.

There was 5 of us and we all ordered something different from the menu. The food was delivered quickly and all at the same time. To say the least the food was fantastic and most people couldn't finsh their breakfasts. The coffee is a very decent cup of coffee but the food is the true leader in this place. A great place for food.

Great place with a real "people" atmosphere. Service excellent and coffee, like their Sydney based franchiser (not sure if that's the correct word) The Grounds of Alexandria, is excellent. Another great coffee Cafe for Newcastle.

The place had alot of patrons and looked like a funky, cool place to stop for a quick coffee - but after repeating my order twice and waiting 20 minutes for take-away coffee, only to get the wrong coffee, really didn't do it for me. The barista then tried to correct me about what I ordered. After asking for a refund she apologised and made a second one which was mediocre at best - too milky, not hot enough.

Great looking new place, that I discovered yesterday as I was perusing Instagram. Good to see even more new cafes popping around Newcastle's East End - we're really spoilt for choice with Good Brother and Xtraction around the corner. Very nice atmosphere and really good looking food menu. I grabbed a cappuccino to go and it was a really nice tasting coffee - beans from The Grounds of Alexandria in Sydney. Coffee was probably on the milky side even for a cappuccino, mainly because the roast was quite light.
