Beautiful atmosphere with attractive decor, with plenty of seats inside and outside that have plugs for laptops/chargers. Very friendly and quick service! The coffee was decorated as beautifully as it tasted, perfect size also for a flat white. Only $4 whereas for the atmosphere and taste I would've happily paid more. Best coffee in NY so far!

BEST coffee since I left Australia. Very Melbourne pour. Don't just stop at Times Square, go further south.... Walk the High Line and walk the suburbs and be rewarded at the end.

As soon as I walked in and sat down, it felt like I was back home in Australia with all the recognizable accents (staff and customers) & the vegemite on toast option! I just stopped in for a coffee and it was just as good as anything you would get in most good Aussie cafes! Can't wait to get back to NY and have it again.

Great find. Melbourne-style latte in small glass. Good flavour, strength and texture. Nice pastries. Casual ambience. Will return!

Damn! I went in expecting a substandard experience. Like my experience at other BSL locations. I was expecting the "running a business" aspect to be overpowering the food, coffee or atmosphere. Plus 10/10 reviews normally indicate that a place is pretty awful but trying to drum up business. But instead I had a great flatwhite and a cute mini muffin. The milk was perfectly textured. The coffee had a bit of punch, but was smooth and lingered. No under extracted sourness. No over extracted bitterness. The food coming out on other peoples plates looked awesome. Super fresh looking avocado toasts with crumbled feta. Bircher muesli. Looked really good. Service was friendly, helpful but not overbearing. Welcoming and efficient. When I compare the food coffee and service to the other local offerings like Toby's estate I'm just disappointed I didn't start coming to BSL regularly months ago. Nice terrace outside too. My only caveat is that this was my first visit. Hopefully all baristas have the same level of product.

Not one to give a 10 but best coffee I've had in NY which wasn't much of a surprise when all the staff were Australian and have good idea of how it should be done. Possibly the only place I've seen that serve piccolos. Will be returning

Perfect little cafe to escape the chilling temperatures of New York in February. While the seating was limited, we still managed to squeeze in the back, which however was right next to the door that staff used rather frequently. The coffee was on par with Melbourne coffee standards, despite lacking visuals on both our flat white and magic. But hey they at least had my magic on the menu :)
