Guys!! This is the place to go when in Rosebud, or on the Mornington Peninsula for that matter! Coffee is smashing - “chocolatey”, rich with jersey milk creaminess and just bloody delish! Cows milk alternatives are on offer too. Food is simple, to the point and fresh fresh fresh! Staff are delightful and welcoming. Sandwiched between Greg’s Butcher and the fruit shop, it’s a tiny place that packs a mighty punch! Look out for the cute outdoor furniture and the adorable trolley filled with plants out the front and you’ve found your place.

Excellent, friendly service and spectacular coffee. My BLAT was yummo and the granola looked very tasty - not sure about the dill though 🤔. Thanks Beanhunter!

Popped in yesterday morning. Coffee was delicious. Also had the Bella jaffle, it was very tasty and filling. The place feels welcoming, the staff are professional and passionate.

Tiny-sized Zarb & Ru in Rosebud is truely a place which is more than the sum of its parts. Superb neo-retro concepts on menu, outstanding coffee and all with a modern simplicity that befits its small space. Blink while walking through Rosebud and you'll miss it. These guys run the "Godfather" blend by Mornington roastery Commonfolk - think choc/hazelnut. This is through a mythos and 2gr linea, while running 3 singles on EK at the back. Had blend as a latte and was impressed. Decided to stay for lunch and was subsequently blown away by two of their jaffles - prince pear (prosciutto, pear and gorgonzola) and miss pickle (ham, swiss and pickle) - welcome updates to this classic Aussie snack. Finished with their washed Rwandan as a double espresso - a crisp brew which delivered on its promise of brown sug, stewed fruits and bright acidity. Full marks for putting much larger establishments on the peninsula to shame.

Ok coffee, not great but not bad either. Average ambience. $2 baby chino is ridiculous

Thanks for the feedback Schmatt, nice of you to pick us as your first review! The size of our space and the amount of people on the peninsula at the moment means we might not be as cozy as usual! We use high quality Jersey milk for our coffee and make babychinos to order, sorry if you found the price point unreasonable. The coffee we sell is high end stuff and is generally a point of praise, but maybe not to your taste? We have 3x single origins running at the moment, if you're ever back in the 'bud maybe we can find one more to your liking? Cheers!

Great place, great staff! Coffee roasted by commonfolk, had a great fw with house blend (brazilian natural and washed colombian) and came back for naturally processed Guji LB, which was also delicious. Great jaffles selection (will be back to try). This place would hold its own in trendy parts of Melbourne, bravo!

Classy coffee comes to rosebud!! Clint and Conchie run a small, personable cafe with outstanding coffee!! Great service, small but interesting cafe, and delicious food!! I always look in the cake cabinet at the Johnny Ripe delicacies and resist the urge!! But all the menu items I've had are sensational!! Living in rosebud we are so glad to have Zarb&ru for all our coffee needs!!!

Being Rosebud locals, we were really happy when these guys opened up and they have been a very welcome addition to our little shopping strip. Coffee with Common folk beans, roasted up the road in Mornington, is consistently good and the simple menu is imaginative and tasty. Grab the paper and one of the footpath tables and watch the world go by.
