Wow. What can I say is FINALLY a great coffee local. Seriously Dairy Queen is something from the 70s and now I have a place I can take people vs me leaving Glenroy. St Ali bang on point every day over Easter, the breakfast burrito is to die for and the music and vibe is on point. Staff super Freindly to my kids and heaps of space for prams. Glenroy is on the map baby!
Very excited for this new joint, plus they're using St Ali beans, great coffee expected. Went there twice, can't say I'm that keen anymore. On the first visit coffee was amazing, second time not. Had the breakfast bowl the first time, safe to say I left starving. The carrot slices were so big they might as well be for stir fries or snacks. Opted for a safer eggs on toast the second time around, it was good, nothing to complain. Service was okay, although being a neighbourhood cafe one of the staffs could be a little friendlier. Coffee and food are important, but customer service is vital. I'm a local, thankfully there are other cafes with better service around.
Been here maybe three times since it’s opened (only for coffee so far and twice sitting in). I Drink st Ali beans at home (pods) and also in the city for work, so super estatic to have them close to home. Long blacks have been consistent so far in temperature and flavor. Definitely best coffee in Glenroy for me. Staff are friendly and have been attentive to anything I’ve ordered. Keen to try food and hope the place becomes a bit busier soon!
