Very nice food and generous servings. Coffee is code black. Very well prepared. Latte was well prepared the coffee/milk ratio was perfect. Milk well textured and did not drown the coffee at all. The doppio was very well made, flavoursome and the temperature was just right. I used to think that sparking water with the doppio was trendy overkill, but it has become so ingrained that today I was upset it wasn’t forthcoming.
Nice atmosphere and service. There were two waitresses. One was passionate with a lovely smile and the other one is average. I ordered one magic. The espresso part was not bad (I'd give 7.5) but the milk was not steamed professionally ( way too much big bubbles). I was disappointed based on what I expected from the rating. 7.5/5 > 6.25 I ordered one Ethiopia cold drip and it saved the day. The aroma and flavor was exceĺlent. well balanced with typical Ethiopia's features. 7.5
Its been the slowest creep into the north for reputable cafes but finally shit is getting done right at the end of the #19 tram line. Glass Den's menu is pretty dynamic, twisting contrasting flavours seamlessly across the plate with inspired attention to detail; today's special was a kickass red curry w/lychee mango and pineapple, juxtaposed with an umami side of enoki mushrooms and biscuity brown rice. Coffee game is getting stronger; long blacks are bold bitter and quite well balanced, run it just a little tighter and I'd probably nudge it up to a firm 8. Staff are cool, beers are cold, location is chilled a.f., definitely be back soon to work my way through this menu.
