This funky little cafe is full of life. Staff are delightful, and coffee is brilliant. The single origin from Market Lane had great acidity, and citrus notes. Very rich as a short black. The candyman blend from Small Batch as a magic was smooth and well balanced.
Lived in the are for a little while and walked past this place a few times on the way to the station in the morning so decided to head in for brekkie. I wasnt alone. People were spilling out the door and there was a waiting list to be seated. Not a bad sign. Was put on the list and offered a coffee while we waited by the fireplace. I had my usual double flat white and it was awesome. Smooth, perfect temp and pretty presentation. We were seated within 15 minutes and staff were really nice. Seemed to be having alot of fun, dont blame them as it was buzzing. Brekkie was awesome as well. Asked what coffee they used and was well informed of their house blend from small batch and rotating single origins from various other local boutique roasters. Will definitely be back, if i can get a seat!
