I’d read about this cafe in a traveler magazine and had high expectations. Was incredibly disappointed to receive an over extracted sour macchiato with an improvished crema that dissipated almost instantly. Everything else about the cafe is of a very high standard.
Tried this place for its attention to coffee rather than food and was not disappointed. The El Salvadoran Single Origin Espresso was, hands down, the best espresso I’ve ever had, smooth with a full fruity flavour that didn’t leave you wanting to reach for a glass of sparkling to was it down. The downside, I also ordered a latte which, whilst superior to almost any other latte in the area, tasted sub-par simply because of the awesomeness that came before it! Highly recommend
