A quaint little cafe/bottleshop that has daily specials for the hungry traveller. ended up ordering a late and a wild strawberry muffin. the muffin had a crisp skin and was light and fluffy in the middle, the strawberries beautifully complementing the vanilla dough. The coffee was well crafted with a thick creamy crema and a nice tulip pattern on top. The coffee shot was mild strength but full flavored, just the way i like it. the menu was fairly simple, with most of the general cafe fare, the breakkies looked good, and i was seriously tempted to order the spoilt brat (toast with Bacon, Roquette, Avocado & Tomato, with a poached egg on top). For $12 it seemed a good option. the service was attentive, with the staff topping my water glass and clearing plates with a smile. Surrounded by all the wine bottles with the wooden paneling i felt i was far away from the city, the music completing the mood nicely. A great local cafe, almost worth a bit of a drive. Would be great for a w/e breakfast.
