Honest coffee, with all the sweetness. Had the Tanzanian today, and it was just wonderful- plum tones, with honey sweetness... and it was a washed processed lot! I love that everyone here treats you like you're a friend. Its such a welcoming atmosphere Marwin and the team have created.
I finally had the chance to return for that Rwandan natural...... Oh. my. lord. This is ones worth coming in for. Its rare to have a naturally processed Rwandan, and when its done well, it has such an exceptional profile. Just think strawberry and raspberry jam.... a berry blast!
Coffee style: always black (long or filter) Consistently great. the etheopians are especially mind boggling... some insane flavours in them usually. The staff are great. I love the attitude of the red headed barista with the beard in partivular. He is knowledgeable in a non-snobbish manner. Simple language for a simple customer
Last stop for the day, and the menu had some stellar offerings... from the Ethiopian Beriti, to a fresh crop Bolivian. Ethiopian Beriti was the pick of the bunch. With its lemon acidity, and floral aroma, the Beriti worked a treat as a short black.
