This was an exceptional experience with mind-numbing choices for me. I had two long blacks: one was an Ethiopian at a higher price and another was a "normal" price Rwandan. Both so different and carefully done. Great service !

I finally had the chance to return for that Rwandan natural...... Oh. my. lord. This is ones worth coming in for. Its rare to have a naturally processed Rwandan, and when its done well, it has such an exceptional profile. Just think strawberry and raspberry jam.... a berry blast!

the most amazing white coffee and also quite a clean single origin filter as well. service is very attentive and baristas are passionate about the coffee but relatively small and very limited food choice.

Came in for the Rwandan Natural, but it just ran out as I arrived. The Guatemalan they served me as an alternative was a little too bright for me. I will be back to try the Rwandan soon as its back in the hopper.

Coffee style: always black (long or filter) Consistently great. the etheopians are especially mind boggling... some insane flavours in them usually. The staff are great. I love the attitude of the red headed barista with the beard in partivular. He is knowledgeable in a non-snobbish manner. Simple language for a simple customer

Last stop for the day, and the menu had some stellar offerings... from the Ethiopian Beriti, to a fresh crop Bolivian. Ethiopian Beriti was the pick of the bunch. With its lemon acidity, and floral aroma, the Beriti worked a treat as a short black.

This place does great coffee, food is really nice too. I don't mind the dinginess given that you are in Collingwood/Abbotsford so it plays to the local student/hipster population and the wannabe hippy kids who drive in from Kew/Hawthorn. Staff are lovely. It is loud inside when there is a crowd, so if you are hearing impaired or want a quiet relaxing spot to have a coffee on the weekend, this probably isn't it. Don't bring your kids.
