Lovely Workshop outpost, hidden just off Oxford Street in chilled Fitzrovia. Workshop coffee is some of the best roasted in London, and they brew it almost as well. Some of the best options of filter you'll find (V60 or Aeropress, with a couple of single origin options on the menu), water while you wait (no asking required), and a decent range of kit. Food looks good, but is overpriced, and the coffee is on the dear side, combined with a rather pokey back room for sitting in, means this isn't quite my favourite shop in the area, but they roast so well, I'll happily drop in just for the beans.
Very close to the Langham and with a lovely selection of good quality pastries, chocolate filled doughnuts included. Counter service but coffee order and water is brought to small chic area at rear. I did not appreciate water being dribbled into my cup after being spilt by "waitress" then told to get napkins from the counter! Coffee sadly, was not hot. Coffee on par with average Sydney.
