Artisan has good coffee, but I'm pretty sure they serve single shot flat whites (although happy to be corrected). There's not the same intensity/strength to them as other cafés who serve the standard 2 shot FW. In saying all that, great cakes and food though.
We have been to the Stamford Brook branch - excellent coffee,if you ask for an extra shot in the flat white or regular cappuccino. Otherwise way too weak. Wish they would not add chocolate as standard to cappuccino. Very good service, relaxing and understated cool vibe. A regular.
Girls were lovely but the coffee was above average - just a bit too hot and weak. I always get a bit worried when I see a large flat white available but it was the location that did it. Closer to the station than Tried and True. It's a decent brew with great customer service.
After moving from Australia to Putney 5 years ago, this is the exact type of coffee place Putney was missing. I could smell the coffee from across the road, real coffee! The staff were really friendly, great service, and best of all amazing coffee. Delicious cakes as well. Love it, and will become a regular stop
Great place that's opened up in Putney. Fantastic location between East Putney tube and Putney rail. Latte and Flat Whites are great, although not quite top notch, but still consistently good coffees. Pastries and breakfasts are also good, while the decor is slightly unusual. Some will love it, some will hate it. Best part is the space with a very roomy feel unusual for London - particularly for those parents with buggies/prams. Went for a Saturday morning brunch and had no problems getting a table; it seems like that might start changing however.
