Let me just say that I loved this place!! I've been there a few times. After not visiting in a while, I was excited to head back to one of my favourite spots. BUT I was super disappointed.. The memory of a great cup, a good bite, in a cosy funky little place was stark contrast to what I experienced this time around. As much as the service was good the coffee was really hot and tasteless.. the extraction was off so what little taste there was was not pleasant.. And although I work within the food industry, thus may have a different view on culinary standards... But If you can't poach eggs.. simple don't offer them.. the meals were badly cooked and poorly presented.. I hope it was just an off day...

Great little spot, with a clever machine to boot. Fast service and although the coffee is not the best in town, it has definitely improved. Previously the flavour always seemed burnt, now a lot smoother. Friendly staff, the sit-down real estate a bit squeezy, but still love that they're where they are.

Solid fix & good vibe

Terrible coffee. Burnt and airy/bubbly milk and bitter coffee. Used to love a coffee and breakfast here, but have gone terrible down hill in last 6 months. very disappointing as the vibes of the cafe are great!

This was the second time the Coffee was below average, milk was over cooked and burnt. Wasn't able to finish the whole coffee. Food is delicious and good service. Just need to learn how to make a coffee. Will not be coming back for coffee.

I didn't eat or drink the coffee, but I did buy some beans. House blend. strong, dark and quite tasty. I used an Aeropress - long black. went back a few days later to pick up some more. Staff were very friendly, I'll probably visit next time I'm down that way.

Have visited plenty of times and coffee/service has always been top notch.
