Legit coffee. They run three different single origins including a filter roast. Was speaking to the owner last week and they've been with Campos for over 8 years. I visited their store in Shellharbour a few months back and this was just as good! I've heard they've got a store in Calderwood Valley now too which I must try. Super friendly and knowledgable staff and a nice vibe in the sun. Very popular with the locals.
Coffee was alright but I’ve had much better Campos coffee at Penny Whistler in Kiama (next door to the Sebel hotel). I’m no coffee expert but for some reason, these guys up the street just don’t seem to be able to get it tasting as good. The Campos coffee at Penny Whistler tastes nuttier and less dirty. I’ve been here a few times now and it’s the same result each time Ah well, back to Penny Whistler next school holidays.
Not impressed by service in this café, got the distinct impression the staff (especially the guy making coffee) were all in bad moods, or just didn't care. Coffee was OK - I had a latte - slightly bitter taste, certainly not speciality in my opinion. Atmosphere was busy/rushed, and pretty rundown inside, although maybe that's the fashion these days.
Bean Roasted Kiama

Hi Michelle, sorry to hear about your experience with us. Not sure what has happened here as the team that were on receive great feedback on their service and coffee very regularly. There was no feedback given in store and a potentially damaging review doesn't help so could you please contact us on Facebook to discuss. Cheers- Christian.
I love my coffee first thing every morning and never drink instant! Bean Roasted Kiama is my preferred caffeination destination. Unlike some places, they make an excellent coffee consistently. The manager, Matt, and the team are exceptional in their dedication to customer service.
What can I say, I am able to rely on the staff at Bean Roasted to ensure that my day starts with an amazing liquid gold. They are nothing but amazing, professional and always serving with a smile. They are an answer to a bad day too! Thank You India, Matt and Michael.
Kiama is certainly not short of cafes, but getting the balance right (of coffee flavour and atmosphere) is tricky. Bean Roasted manages this feat with laidback ease – pumping out consistently good Campos coffee and FAST too. Staff are natural and friendly and the focus is unashamedly on coffee first. Matt's memory for orders is ridiculous and he's even created his own in-store 'bean tv' channel if you want to learn more about your brew. Nice big windows, mix of seating and 'laptop friendly' workspace! Parking galore over the road. Mr 27-minute review is dreaming – most you'll wait is 10-15 mins at ultra-peak rush hour, or just phone ahead. More likely to be 2-3 minutes! My fave spot in Kiama.
