Visited with elderly parents as we were passing through. The coffee was good-a light bitterness but with great flavour that left a very pleasant aftertaste. Our meals were fresh and plentiful - mum said the salad was the best she had eaten. The staff were friendly and helpful. An excellent and friendly place to stop.

We just visited this place, we are not local. The coffee was made as it should but flavour not to my liking. I think I have become a coffee snob, I expect a bit more than average when having to pay a bit more. I suggest these guys need to source a different bean supplier. I also bypassed McDonalds with the thought that the coffee at a cafe would be better. (We also like to support small local businesses. ) But my experience did not match my expectation. The milkshake and hot chocolate that my kids had were ok. I suggest a toasted sandwich here rather than a melt. My husband had a BLT and it was ok but my melt was not up to the standard I'd expect of the price I paid. It was very ordinary. The chicken on it was fresh and nicely cooked but really was worth about half what i paid, same for the ones my kids had. Next time I will consult this site before venturing into new cafe's. wish I'd had a baguette. The cafe did have nice ambience, nice spot to sit outside and staff were pleasant. There are plenty of nick nacks to purchase and check out. i am sorry to have to be a bit negative but for me I really expect more these days from my actual food and coffee. What we got was average at best, we expect more value. we dont mind paying if the standard matches. frankly the value was not there. A suggestion for staff may be to ask us what we felt like and give us a bit of direction on the food when ordering. This may have gone some way to assist a better choice in what food we ultimately ordered. Sorry guys.

The coffee is not great....but a nice little cafe for lunch....love the baguettes. But I suggest a cup of tea rather than coffee.

Easily the best coffee in Muswellbrook (although there are only about 4 places here). I get takeaway coffees nearly everyday from here for work and it's always great. Not a strong blend but always smooth and never bitter. The staff are very friendly and do a great job.
