Good flat white, could be a touch creamier and punchier, I think they are being outclassed by some of the flashier establishments in the area now in terms of quality and fit out. As others have said, the banana and walnut bread is awesome and very well presented. Friendly service, not as crowded as others. If I needed a quick takeaway and couldn't wait the 6-7 minutes at other local places during the morning rush I'd definitely go again.

Cafeine is in Sheung Wan on Queens Road. They are a coffee shop that serves food. It is cute and red and fun. But I would not consider this a coffee geeks place to go to. The person that took my order had to be new because she did not know what a piccolo latte was even though it was on the menu. The barista knew the beans were from a Kwun Tong roaster called Glory Roasters, but she did not know the composition of the blend. She was nice and very customer service oriented so I had a good experience. The coffee was good, but not so special that I have to go back. I do have to say that the little piece of banana bread with a dot of butter on top was a nice touch with my coffee. PS - The Eggs Benedict looked good.

Had a really nice breakfast here with a cappucinno which was flavorsome and to my liking. Try the banana and walnut bread for a tasty treat. Good service too.

Well, I wouldn't say this is a favourite yet, but it's got great potential. On the surface the atmosphere is fine, if a bit clinical (it's very white, and clean-looking). But the warmth of the service more than compensates. After a cheery greeting I was sat down and offered a menu, and a glass of water to start me off. I only wanted a doppio, but just in case I was a little peckish, I was offered a beautifully presented and plated up taste of banana cake, which would easily have tempted me into a full-size portion if I'd been in the right mood. It was the coffee that made me truly glad, though. With a nice balance of acidity and sweetness, and perhaps a touch of something lovely hovering there (cinnamon perhaps?), this was the nicest coffee I've had in a while. The length was also excellent, with enough volume for me to be able to savour it, and served in a funky handleless cup. It was so good, I had a single to follow-up, just to make sure I wasn't dreaming. As a final bonus, as I needed beans for my home-machine, I enquired if they would sell me some of their blend. They were more than happy to do so, and apologised for not being organised yet to have consumer-size bags (so I carried my beans home in what was probably a 3kg-size bag!). Now that experience all made me cheery...
