Had a flat white here the other day and have to say it wasn't that great. Yes, it was good, but since my first visit, every subsequent visit to Percy's Corner has been less and less spectacular. It is one of a very few coffee shops that I rely on to get a great coffee, and lately, I've only experienced nice coffees...not great.
Couldn’t fault anything. Has my top three boxes checked for a good coffee experience: 1. Black and milky coffees done well ✔️ 2. Nice set up and aesthetics ✔️ 3. Friendly banter ✔️ No wonder it’s consistently rated as one of the best on the coast. Had a one-one: espresso on Ethiopia- delicious fruity aroma as expected, rum and raisin and caramel notes. Lower acidity than I expected which was a pleasant surprise. Amazing espresso that warrants sipping slowly like a good whiskey. Flat white up next: 6oz cup a perfect choice as it still packed a kick after an espresso. Delicious texture and lovely sweetness. Definitely more of a modern style of coffee blend, I dig it. This place is a must-visit if you’re on the coast.
