I had a quite good experience at Barefoot Barista. The service was relaxed but friendly while it was very busy at the shop. They use Gabriel coffee roaster, which I don't see often in Brisbane. My partner's milky coffee was mild and subtle while flavoursome, and my batch brew Costa Rica was super sweet and tasted a bit like pop corn. Very tasty cup. Breakfast was also good while some may find a little bit pricey but they use good ingredients and are creative too, so no complaints. The cafe was a bit noisy but not like my ears are ringing... thanks to the high ceiling with lots of open space. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and definitely visit them again when I visit the area.
First time since the move across the road for them and if they had any hiccups they are totally ironed out now. Coffee10/10 Young Danika was my server the first time and she is a total asset to the business . Chefs are professionals as the food is perfection, if I had to find fault it may be the bowls that the food arrives in so I may ask for a plated service next time. Well done Barefoot!
The service was terrible. The girl who served me was not friendly or helpful, I basically had to drag out of her what type of coffee they could actually offer. The wait was very long, seeing as mine was the only order and the order was simply 2 coffees. Had to wait for her and the other girl working there, to finish talking and being on the mobile before they looked at me and served up my order. Like as if I was bothering them!? The coffee in the end was nothing worth the terrible experience. Won’t be going there again nor recommending to anyone. Sure a cafe can be cool and relaxed for sure, but service is one of the most important things.
