Friendly service but definitely on the slower side when you’re waiting for coffee. We waited 20 minutes before asking to takeaway our coffee even though the place was not full. They were very happy to accommodate however and the filters we had were excellent, as was the Breton pastry. Buzzing with noise, Bam Bam is casual and easy going. Highly recommend!
A cool little place in a slightly odd location. Food delicious, well presented. I would expect table service for the price tag but it is what it is. Staff very friendly, well dressed and always smiling. My long black from Marvel street was decent, sweet with soft fruit character. My partners Capp looked thin but apparently delicious. Some sweets to take away. Happy days!
I’m a local so have dined in as well as purchased take away coffee about half a dozen times. Everyone must eat at Bam Bam’s once in their life - the food and pastries are off the planet. Coffee is right up there. On occasion I’ve had a slightly over extracted result but very marginal. I’m being really picky by even mentioning it. One real downside ... Bam Bam’s is always busy especially weekends. Trying to grab a “quick” takeaway isn’t an option - you have to line up with the dine-in guests to place your takeaway order. Thankfully I am able to walk to Bam Bam’s as parking is always ridiculous & in short supply so don’t think you can just whip in & out. If you’re not walking like me, with the effort it takes to find parking you’ll want to be heading here to dine in and really enjoy the full experience. My weekday roaster isn’t open weekends so I’m always deciding on my weekend supplier! If I’ve got the time to wait, I’ll choose Bam Bam’s knowing the coffee is always at least a solid 9 - if not 10. If I don’t have the time or don’t feel like battling the ever consistent line up then there are better local options to choose.
