Great tasting coffee and the food was amazing. The Fish Tacos & Beetroot Waffles my friend and I shared, were amazing and looked just as good. Will definitely be back for coffee and lunch again.

Loved this place. Long Mac Topped Up was terrific. Great roast and gloriously textured milk. If anything served slightly below my preferred temperature. baristas need to watch ambient temperature of the cups... I fully recommend the breakfasts. The smashed avocado with goats feta, eggs and Beetroot smash was brilliant. So good to see this little neighbourhood with some great coffee and wonderful food options. Newtown looks very different to how it was 30+ years ago - I used to live just three doors from S&G

Been here 3 days in a row now thanks to their spectacular Ugandan Mount Elgan Single Origin which has a ridiculously lingering dark chocolate background and delicate plum notes. Have had espressos and lattes. Shot is beautiful and consistent every time with good crema, colour and body.. and the lattes are excellent although sometimes a bit too much foam.. I'm being picky though. Having said that, the microfoam is super silky, latte art is simple but neat. Service is quick and friendly. Food is tasty. Kids menu looks good. Good environment for anyone.

Actually went to "Pako" after visiting Mr Hyde's and they were "lost" so we left after 10mins of no greeting to try Winter's. Winter's was full so wandered over to Stick's . . . having been there a few time before it's always fairly reliable without really exceeding expectations. The place was full, greeting was cool basically seated ourselves, ordered coffee reasonably timely but weak and too hot for latte. Ordered Fritters . . . Sold Out it was 10.30 (although Breaky went till 3) compromised built our Breakies both w Poached Egg's - 15 mins later both received Breaky with Hard poached Egg's is it me or when I ordered poached should I have to stipulate Soft or runny?? Anyway everything else was good flavours, Quality, price, Service was predicatble but nothing to return for. We'll go back but it waon't be first option. Just a pedestian offer.
