The service was good on the whole. But being able to order from the table would be nice. Was also minor confusion about waiting to be seated or just find a seat, most likely due to COVID 19 rules and such. Coffee is well brewed. Not burnt at all. Doesn’t have the distinct taste of bush fire. Credit to the barista. Sharp and bitter, but palatable. Food was fresh, and the chef was accommodating to our requests of altering the menu without a fuss. For a very busy morning, we only waited 20minutes.
This is regular hang out for me. Every morning I'm greeted by Caitlyn who knows my order and Peter who also knows to make my order as I walk through the door. My long black (if made by Pete), has notes of rich, sweet cacao flavours. It is must visit if you're in the CQ region.
What a great find at 3.00 pm on a Saturday afternoon when absolutely everything else in town is closed. After driving 500 klms I'd have drunk a coffee strained through an old sock! Luckily my cappuccino tasted much better than that. Good strength and smooth flavour with just the right head of creamy micro textured foam to cap it off.
