Excellent piccolos prepared as per expectations although the coffee shots seemed to be closer to 60ml rather than 30ml leading to a slight bitter taste. Temperature was spot on and we enjoyed our coffees.

Easily the best flat white I've had in Edinburgh! Highly recommended, cannot wait to go back and try their other roasts!

Delicious well balanced espresso. Smooth and well crafted. I like that they have two choices of beans but no designated house blend. Friendly staff and nice room with a few seats outside perfect for a sunny Edinburgh day.

Once again, beanhunter has delivered the goods! Small place, but with a choice of coffee blends, I was happily surprised. Barista explained the choices and flavours which was helpful. I liked the arch of colourful cups in the entrance as well. Coffee was smooth with a sweetness that made sugar unnecessary.

I've never had a bad coffee from Machina. Both the espresso-based drinks and the pour-overs are consistently incredible. On top of that, the staff are never anything but friendly. In fact, the shop's only let down by being in a slightly cramped space, which can lead to a slightly library-easier atmosphere, as people try to stop their conversations being overheard.

One of my favorites in Edinburgh. Any way they make your coffee will be great. They passionate about espresso and chemex and it shows.

One of two great espresso hang-outs in Edinburgh. Two blends on offer. The Market blend from @caravanroastery was a little too fruity for me but the other beautiful Guatemalan Montana hit the spot time and again. Great line in equipment also. A little off the beaten track but worth the trek.
