We had high expectations visiting Tom & Serg, having followed their fabulous instagram for quite a while now. However, said expectations disintegrated within minutes like the micro foam on our coffees. 馃挵: 18 AED for a flat white or magic 鈽曪笍: 5/10 as the micro foam resembled more micro bubbles. Strong and okay tasting cup of Joe, using Encounter Coffee's Voyager blend. 馃懌: Service was average and terribly slow. Staff seemed a bit unhappy as well. 馃彔: Spacious and plenty of room to swing a coffee sack or two. Beautiful interior with large communal tables to either work on your laptop, read a book or spend the time with friends.

Decent coffee. Food is great. Service is average - it gets very busy at times. Not ideal if you like to avoid crowds. Lots of seating, but depending on time of day of course.

The coffee is definitely not what you would expect if you are a true coffee lover. Very acidic. The food selection is very blend. Great cakes and desserts with gluten free options though.

What a totally sensational find. Had the avocado on soy and linseed. So good. The coffee matches any of the top cafes in Sydney... Had two piccolo's... Awesome place. A must on any trip to Dubai.

The best coffee place in Dubai and probably in the Middle East. The baristas know their stuff pretty well, are very friendly when approached and always seek to understand your taste. They use columbian coffee from Colombia and Peru, which is roasted around the corner at another great coffee place. They say that in few months they'll have their own coffee roastery. The coffee comes packed in 1 kg airtight bags and they open one at a time. The barista lady said that one bag finished usually within half an hour. That's great because the beans oxidise if left more than 3 hours in contact with air. The machine is a La Marzocco Strada EP. From the reviews I've read that it's a pretty cool machine to use, with amazing feedback from customers. I must say that this were my best two coffees I've ever had so far. Simply delicious. The only downside was the temperature of the first one (their standards are 65掳 C), and the later one corrected to extra hot (75掳 C). Simply amazing coffee!! I'll pass by every time from now on and also recommend it to my friends.

In the upstairs area, during the working week, I was happy to see it was laptop city and I was welcomed as its temporary citizen. Fresh food (the gado-gado was great) and nice coffee (ask for it a touch hotter, if you want to sit and linger). A tr猫s tasty syphon at AED22 topped off my lunch.

Easy to see why it's such a pops spot, with it's urban warehouse-style fit out, great buzz, excellent coffee (sourced locally from Raw) & friendly, efficient staff. More restaurant-cafe than simply a cafe. Definitely check it out.
