Another awesome cafe in Denver. This place has multiple brew methods, cold brew on tap, syphon, Chemex, espresso.. Fantastic tea options, kombucha and craft beer. Some chocolate? Yeah of course. Had a selection of 3 different coffees, went with the washed Panama for my espresso. A very nutty but bright coffee. Beautifully extracted and fantastic flavours. From what I know, Novo have been around for a while and somewhat an original player in the Colorado coffee scene. You can tell. Great set up, awesome coffee Great service and also a great place to chill and watch the people in downtown Denver
Novo is now at 1600 Glenarm Place. The is not a lot of street parking. But the store is very nice and definitely a place to go to if one is doing a coffee discovery of Denver. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and it is nice and comfortably designed. They roast their own beans but partner with others to provide you variety. Their baristas love coffee and know about the emerging coffee scene in Denver. I ran into one of the baristas the next day at a new coffee house. While located in a pretty commercial shopping and dining area, the beans, the service and the atmosphere is definitely custom and high end. One cannot miss their sky blue Slayer that rules the counter.
Great cafe and roaster, located in and across from the Denver Art Museum. Always get a terrific espresso here, although they feature many methods of preparation (pour-over, siphon, French press). Many of their coffees are available, including your choice of at least two espresso beans. A family operation that does everything to deliver great coffee-from travel to the Source, selecting partners, roasting, and preparation. Highly recommended. Comfy cafe Location across from museum features couches, assorted tables, lots of natural light, and an excellent, adjoining lunch spot.
