I have been back at least a dozen times. Their coffee is definitely the most neutral and smooth. Their service is exemplary! Seltzer water, and coffee delivery to your table if you are sitting inside or outside. If one combines "Good to go Tacos" with them as a collective experience, then this is one of the best places to go for coffee. Even without the adjacent food, this is an awesome place for coffee, and probably one of my favorites in Dallas.
Located in East Highlands on a great spot, Cultivar has its roots as a coffee roaster. I met Jonathan one of the partners and tried a few of their offerings. Jared the other barista also knew his beans and coffee very well. This was quite a pleasant surprise and tells me that the coffee scene in Dallas is starting to really raise its bar. First I had their 2x2. Both were single origin espressos. One was Columbian (their own roast profile - more traditional) the other was an Ethiopian that was very floral and sweet. I also tried a cortado, a cappuccino, and a iced pour over single origin. Basically I had a great time there. Their shop shares a space with a taco/mexican restaurant. On the same strip center is a very good burger/beer joint and capped at the other end by a very new but excellent casual seafood restaurant. For Fido lovers, their seating areas are DOG friendly. So what else do you need, 4 great places for all that you might need or want to eat. So great coffee is not the only reason to go there. Easily one of the best coffee places to go in Dallas
