A long-time Phnom Penh institution for a very good reason, The Shop perks your curiosity with its low-key entrance and lower-key name, gives you big warm hug then sits you down on a comfy chair and delivers freshness, quality and style without a second thought. I've been a couple of times (and am on my way there as soon as I finish this) and will no-doubt spend the rest of the week confirming my first impression - The Shop is excellent on all levels (except their WiFi doesn't come on until 1430...). The fresh juices are awesome, the fresh food likewise, the bakery treats are good enough to be delivered next door (to the Royal Palace), they have their own Belgian Chocolate sister shop and... the coffee is even pretty decent. I've had a couple of espressos now and both, while not being amazing, are very drinkable, lack the chemical taste so common in SEAsia, and is probably Lavazza or similar. All in all, I'm yet to find a better all-rounder in Phnom Penh. This may even be my favourite cafe in all of SEAsia...
