Disappointing. My flat white was very milky. I could barely taste any coffee. Also, the milk was not textured well at all. No foam on my flat white. It couldn't have been any flatter. Disappointing because I was looking forward to trying the Mahalia Coffee which has won the Golden Bean roasting competition. This was not my first Tasmanian coffee that was weak. Is it a Tassie thing?
Huge warm space, good local food menu. My expectations were fairly high considering this is a real foody town but alas, the coffee was the typical Tasmanian country town low standard. The sound of the grinder running for five minutes at a time unattended freaked me out a bit. Barista technical training required here. Mahalia brand coffee from south aus.
