Great place!!! Wouldn't have gone here if it wasn't for beanhunter. Great coffee (they lost my order, but it didn't matter! They were so polite and apologetic, and to be honest/ it was a great place to watch the world go by!).the good is also AMAZING! I had a vegan savoury quinoa slice, the boy had pies. Awesome! And the coffee: smooth, delicious.

Recommend this place by the owner of place we are staying at. I was not disappointed. Very very nice coffee, friendly & happy service/staff. Some of the sandwiches made up fresh on display look amazing. Love the open bakery / kitchen look. I will be back.

Wow! Honestly the best service I've ever had. Great vibe. All staff happy to be present and more than happy to serve. Great coffee and fabulous food. Tried sweets, pies and sandwiches. And ohhh the croissants. I was astounded that they remembered us by sight and our order preferences after two visits. We were only there for four days and felt like a local. Given a free coffee with a sweet 'safe travels' message written on the lid for our last visit. I cannot say how impressed I am to find you all in such an impersonal world. If I was ever looking for a reason to go to Byron Bay again, it would be to say hello once again over delicious coffee and food.

Laid back atmosphere, great bench for waiting (avg. 10mins). Temp good. Coffee good, mostly. Had a mouthful of grounds at the end of first cup. Bleh! Coffee quite drinkable. Although quality was a bit variable over several cups would go back - the wait with a wide variety of people was fun. :) bakery & ice cream also recommended.

Had to re-review here as I've since had a few decent coffees after my first visit - which was undrinkable. The last few I've had have all been during the arvo, where I reckon due to the barista having a little more time and not being in the middle of a manic morning rush, has resulted in a drastically more pleasant cup. Happy to know there's somewhere close to home for a half decent coffee now!
